MAKE SURE YOU ARE ENROLLED IN DOLLHOUSE CLASSES!!!!! Its required to be eligible to tryout. **Exceptions can be made based on previous dance experience and resume provided by previous dance coach/dance studio. All of which will be verified.**
Ages
Dancing Dolls is for girls ages 10-17.
Cost
There is a $25 fee per new dancer and $1o tryout fee for all returning dancers.
The Process of becoming a Doll…….
Step 1: Interview
All participants are required to come dressed in Business/Casual attire for interview.
Interviews will be conducted be a selected panel consisting of Coach Dianna Williams, Coach Kayla Jones & Coach Ariel Kinsey
Step 2: Tryout Camp
Monday- Registration & Interview Registration begins at 4:00PM Interviews begin at 5:00PM Note: You can be cut from interview
Tuesday- Camp begins at 5:30PM – 9:30PM
Wednesday Camp continues 5:30PM – 9:30PM
Thursday Camp continues 5:30PM – 9:30PM
Step 3: Tryout Date
Friday, – Try Out Day! – Detailed Information Will Be Announced Soon!
***Dancing Dolls require the following: Marching (Salt N Pepper & Swing), Struts (J-Sette Walk & Prancing), Splits, Kicks (both legs), Rollovers (front and Back), Cartwheel, Toe Touch, Back bend and Deathdrop. All moves are taught during camp sessions. A group dance will be taught consisting of 9-12 eight counts.
